Matt Redman’s ‘10,000 Reasons’ Crowned ASCAP Christian Music Song of the Year

Grammy Award-winning worship leader, Matt Redman has added yet another laurel to his cabinet for his popular song 10,000 Reasons. 10,000 Reasons was named by The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) as the Christian Music Song of the Year, earlier this month.

10,000 Reasons was written and Recorded by Matt Redman and published by Said and Done. The worship song was recorded live in February 2011 during LIFT – a worship leaders’ collective, with the title track topping the Billboard Christian Songs chart in July 2012.

Redman won two Grammy Awards for “10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)” co-written with Jonas Myrin: Best Contemporary Christian Music Song and Best Gospel/Contemporary Christian Music Performance.
