Infinity (of the ‘Olori Oko’ fame), one of Nigeria’s multi award winning foremost gospel groups of yesteryears, is set to return with a repackaged sophomore album titled ‘Beyond Infinity’.
The album is set to be launched next Sunday October 27, 2013 with a LIVE concert in Lagos. Sources close to the group who brought us the groundbreaking massive hit, Olori-Oko say the new album will dispel rumours about the group splitting up with members pursuing solo careers.
Beyond Infinity will be launched at Household of Love, Folarin Bus-stop, Badore, Ajah Lagos at 5pm next Sunday, with a Red Carpet reception at 4pm.
According to Infinity, “the new compilation contains six new tracks and seven previously released tracks”. They described the album as “a five edged sword” that will achieve so many things at once for the group recognized as one of the most successful music groups out of Nigeria.
The group is aware that there have been several questions hanging over them following the exits of Kenny Kore and David Karnji, they however promise their fans that this new album will answer all the questions in their minds and also deliver vintage Infinity, lyrically, vocally while maintaining the creative spiritual content the group is known for.
Artistes billed to perform at the album launch includes PITA and Doris Dumah; while comedian SACO will be the compere. The event is free and open to everyone to attend.
