Renowned worship minister Olumide Iyun shares an apt message for a season such as this, in a song titled “There Is A Lifting Up”.
In a time when the world is saying there is a casting down, the testimony of the Church will be that of a ‘lifting up’.
In a chat with Praiseworld Radio, the music maestro who is currently working on a new album, said the song came about during an intense time of worship during Church service.
Last Sunday, during an intense time of praise and worship, God gave us a song in church which I believe transcends our local assembly. I couldn’t get away from it all week and then shared the experience on Facebook. It generated such a buzz and I was asked to provide a melody so people could sing along.
