These are some of the comments you hear when Mairo steps off the stage: A stage he has shared with many music greats like Ron Kenoly, Lionel Peterson, Cohbams, PITA, Lara George, Nathaniel Bassey, Paul Irabor and so on.
Mairo simply believes he has been called by grace and anointed by God to bring the good news of the gospel across the nations of the world.
Mairo has served in various capacities from Chorister to Worship leader to Music Director in different parishes of The RCCG, House on the Rock (Jos) and presently at This Present House where he worked as the worship leader for about 7 years.
Mairo’s passion is worship and his underlying objective is to ‘lift up the name of Yahweh and bring people closer to their Creator’. He has released various songs beginning with ‘We Praise You’ in 2005, ‘I Need You’, ‘Gbagaun-gbagaun’ and recently ‘Iye Iye’.
He is associated with a number of worship movements including ‘Euphoria Worship Team’ & ‘True Worshippers’ who have ministered in Uganda, Tanzania, Ghana, etc. He is putting his perfectionist touch to his highly anticipated debut album to be launched in the last quarter of the year.
He is also passionate about football and an ardent Arsenal fan.
