When people refer to their pot belly they generally mean the excess fat around their waistline. There are many home remedies you can use to boost fat burn on your belly. Processed foods, too many carbohydrates in general, all forms of sugar, artificial sweeteners, caffeine, trans fats and soda all stress up the liver and a stressed liver cannot properly maetabolize fat. Cut down 500 to 1,000 calories from your daily diet and experience 1-2 pounds of weight loss.

Drink 100 percent cranberry juice or cran-water. Cranberries are high in organic acids that act as digestive enzymes. Fish oil is one great source of omega-3 fatty acids. Take 6g, which is an overflowing tablespoon, or eat salmon or mackerel twice a week… Cook with olive oil or try sunflower or safflower oil. Eat more of avocados and olives, sip lemon or lime juice in hot water daily.

Any aerobic exercise that causes you to sweat is going to help you burn calories and fat. Swimming, walking, and general aerobic routines are all good ways to get rid of a pot belly stomach. You can also work on getting rid of your pot belly stomach throughout the day. Keep yourself in good posture at all times to reduce the appearance of a pot belly.

You can try blowing out all the air in your lungs and pull your tummy in. The beauty of this exercise is that you carry it out everywhere and anywhere without ever going to the gym. It is so discreet that people will not even notice you exercising even when you are waiting for the office lift or at your desk at work.
