ABOUT WURA GRANT
A CCM artist and has always loved to sing to the glory of God. She graduated from Michigan State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering and also completed a Master’s degree in Finance from Keller Graduate School in Atlanta, GA where she resides with her family.
Born in Nigeria to an African-American mother and a Nigerian father, Wura grew up in a household filled with love for the Lord and the joy of singing.
Both her parents are graduates of Michigan State University, thus her desire to attend their alma mater. Her mother, a music teacher, has been her vocal coach from an early age. Growing up, Wura and her siblings heard everything from classical music by Bach to traditional Nigerian Music.
