Tributes To Mothers On Mother’s Day

WOMEN!!!! they are said to be the backbone of every home. Beautiful inside out and strong in so many ways. They are rare species who are ready to give out the other arm in order to save their families. They are simply the glue that binds our families together.

Sunday the 14th May was a day to reminisce on the importance of women. It was a day to appreciate their sacrifices, love and a time to showcase their special attributes. Quite a number of children and husbands took out time to celebrate the special women in their lives.

Many of our gospel artistes from Travis Green to Nathaniel Bassey took part in showcasing their wives to the world. Many mothers from Michelle Obama to Nike Adeyemi also took time in appreciating their mothers for their hard work, prayers and every other thing they had to go through just so that they could become successful.

Here are some of the tributes posted from children to mothers and from husbands to wives:

Yolanda Adams ~ To Every Mom who knows what Unconditional Love, Giving and Sacrifice are; Happy #MothersDay!!! Love Y’all

TOLA Omoniyi #spiceonthemic ~ How many #MothersDays do we have in a year? Well, for me I believe these gems are worth celebrating EVERYday. While celebrating my mom, Toluwani and I also celebrate a very rare kind of Mother @qweenmabel. Your type is rare, an embodiment of true motherhood. God bless you. God bless you gaaaaaaaaan. God bless you for us

Travis Greene ~ My wife has always had a Huge heart, but after watching her raise our boys, I’m even more Enamored with her ability to LOVE! She is an absolute Super-Mom!! #HappyMothersDayBaby

Michelle Obama ~ Happy #MothersDay to my mom. I strive to be the kind of mother to my girls that you have always been to me

Tim Godfrey ~ World Happy Mother’s day to the Bestest Mum Ever….I celebrate every Lady here…..and every Woman today!

Nike Adeyemi ~ Just because I love my mum too… Happy Mother’s Day Mum. You have done well. You loved and still do so amazingly ❤️?. May God reward you

Marvin Sapp ~ This is my 78yr old mother Lodena Holyfield being interviewed for the documentary #Unsung that will air in June. I wanna wish her a happy Mother’s Day…

Kirk Franklin ~ Her name could easily have been called Grace…
The way she fills the earth with her mercy and understanding. Her innate ability to find the good in a lost young man that wanted to marry her and father her children, knowing that her fingerprints would enable those children to be flawed and perfect in the same narrative is the genius of her touch. She is the hero of our home. She is the calm in the sea of adolescent terror alerts, boyfriend break ups, and the truth that God CAN exist in the framework of millennial minds. She loves them. She loves me. She will hurt you over her cubs, and leave you speechless praising me, her boyfriend. A mother and a lover can be a daunting task…but history will remember her name, and our home will worship her grace…for she IS Amazing.
Happy Mother’s Day my angel.

Nathaniel Bassey ~ My Beautiful Wife, and Mother of my children. After we would preach how young men should look inwardly for beauty. can you see our lives????

Kim Walker Smith ~ These guys made me a mama. Before I had them, I was given a prophetic word….the sound of your healing is the pitter patter of little feet running through your house. How true that has been! Pregnancy brought physical healing and the journey of accepting motherhood has unraveled many deep layers in my heart that the Lord has brought healing through so much kindness. My little mighty men have taught me to be more loving towards myself, live in the moment, and remember that tomorrow is a new day❤

Cece Winans ~ The greatest Mom in the world! Happy Mother’s Day!

Britt Nicole ~ My greatest JOY #mothersday #mothersdayweekend #momma #family

TD Jakes ~ This lady birthed five children (all natural childbirth) and raised them to adulthood
In the harsh glare of public opinion. Now we have 30,000 spiritual children and she still looks amazing! Happy Mother’s Day to @seritajakes She brought us into the presence of God today and always!!! Keep preaching and reaching! We honor you!
I’m trying to keep up with her!
