The absolute first impressions of this song are rooted in an evident love of Jazz music. The lovely piano, strings, timpani build-up towards the end of the intro, did nothing to prepare me for the opening vocal bars.
The singer’s dulcet vocal tone and approach to the song, are somewhat reminiscent of John Legend’s style. It was interesting to observe the blend between Spirit and skill, as the song unfolded into a warm and contemporary Afro-fusion track carefully produced by the duo of Music Producer “Konam” and Jazz Pianist “AyBanky” with lead guitar by Kenny G, Bass Guitars by Ayo and background vocals by Project fame star, Daniella Oji.
