Rapper Lecrae And Rockers For King & Country Top Nominees For GMA Dove Awards 2015

Nashville, USA — Rapper Lecrae and bombastic rockers For King & Country top the list of nominees for the 46th annual Gospel Music Association Dove Awards.

The association and a crew of Christian music artists announced the nominees at Nashville’s Lipscomb University, which will host the awards on Oct. 13, 2015 at Allen Arena.

Lecrae, whose 2014 album, “Anomaly,” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard album chart, leads with seven nominations, while the Australian-born, Nashville-based For King and Country follows with five. Crowder, Chris Tomlin and Matt Maher each have four.

Lecrae and For King and Country are both artist of the year nominees, alongside Francesca Battistelli, Kari Jobe and Mercy Me.
