I really did not understand who God was. I lived my life without any sense of accountability to God, not knowing that He cares and wants to be involved with everything about my life.
My real Christian walk began when I committed my life to Christ with so much conviction that Jesus had saved my soul in 2007. I started receiving songs which I personally did not pay attention to, though they had depth and had power in them.
My Choir Director one time instructed all of us to write a song and I did; when it was sung, a lot of people were blessed.
The more I became close to God’s word the more songs I received through the Holy Spirit. Many times I tried not to pay attention to the songs because I was having some challenges but the more I tried to stop, the more I became restless and would have to go back to God to ask him to have his way and do as he pleases with me.
“Yeshua” which means “JESUS” is one of the songs I received through one of such encounters with the Holy Spirit. I am just a mouth piece for the Holy Spirit to express the heart of the father.
