Praiseworld Radio’s Top 50 songs of 2014 (Nigerian) based on airplay, downloads from our official website, request and popular demand by listeners and recurrence on the weekly Top 10 Chart Show. The Top 50 Chart show was hosted by D’Mo on Wednesday, December 31, 2014. Below is the full list.

  1. No Regrets – Limoblaze ft. Lil Kal

Limoblaze got into the Chart with his smashing hit ft. Lilkal, No Regrets on the 1st day of August as the fresh tune of that week. It almost left the chart on the 22ndof Aug  by falling to the number  9 spot but it sprang back into a comfortable spot on the chart and went straight to the number 1 spot after 4 weeks. This so far has been the longest song on the chart EVER.

  1. Your Love – NK

NKs debut single “Your Love” got into the Chart on the 28th of April and attained the number 1 after a very progressive 5 weeks on the chart. The UK based Rocktown records signee has since dropped yet another single featuring label mate Giljoe. Song is titled “Foolish” in October this year further emphasizing his seriousness to take his place in the Gospel industry.

  1. Christian Baller – Giljoe

Christian Baller got into the chart in the Last week in June as the fresh tune. By the following week it was at the number 5 position. By the following week it was number 1. I call it the Record of life

  1. Bigger Than – Jumbo

A peaceful and very convincing song, Jumbo’s Bigger than was number 1 for two weeks in a row replacing Okey Sokay’s Aka hit in the first week in may this year.

  1. Aka – Segun Obe

Aka by Segun Obe as well hit the chart on the 20th of June and in 2 weeks became number 1 knocking out NK on the 4th of july which had been number 1 for 2 weeks. It was number 1 for just a week and was replaced by Christian baller.

  1. Only One – Kenny Kore

Kenny Kore got into the Chart for the first time this year as the freesh tune of the week shortly after releasing his 3rd Album titled Noah. The Song “Only One” won the hearts of many and went straight to the number 1 spot after 4 weeks.  Aka by Okey Sokay & Only One by Kenny Kore are the only ones out of the number 1s that enjoyed the number one position on the chart only once before getting replaced by Jumbo’s Bigger than & Ayo Vincent’s Serve the Lord

  1. Bless Me – Jamin

Bless Me – Jamin (Mixed by Jerry) got into the chart as the fresh tune on the 25th of July. It was on the chart until the 24th of October (3months). Enjoying the number 1 spot for 3 times in a row.

  1. Aka – Okey Sokay

Aka by Okey Sokay & Only One by Kenny Kore are the only ones out of the number 1s that enjoyed the number one position on the chart only once before getting replaced by Jumbo’s Bigger than & Ayo Vincent’s Serve the Lord

  1. Ladder – Rooftop MCs ft. Egar boi

The Ladder landed into the Chart as the Fresh Tune of the week in mid September and climbed up the ladder all the way to the number 1 spot after exactly 4 weeks.

10. Ko’lafiwe – Dolapo Adekolu ft. M.I

11. Serve the Lord – Ayo Vincent ft. Don Jazzy

Serve the Lord – Ayo Vincent ft. Don Jazzy took a quatum leap into the number 3 spot on the 1st of august after debuting on the chart the previous week at number 9. Highest jump so far. It was followed by Provab’s What’s on your mind jumping 5 spots in the same week from number 10 the previous week to number 5 that week.

12. Oh My Jesu – Mike Abdul : Oh My Jesu! (OMJ) 

Mike Abdul smashed its way into the chart since the 8th of August and since then claimed its space within the top 10 biggest hits on the chart every week till 3 Fridays ago after enjoying the number 1 position for just one week in september. AMAZING!!

13. You are the Reason – Mairo

You are the reason – Mairo found his way, alongside 3 other fresh songs into the A-listers on the 8th of August, working his way gradually to the number 2 spot on the 29th of the same month after 4 weeks. Very close indeed to the number 1 spot.

14. Certainly – Izzy

Izzy hit the chart with the Hip-Hop, afro-fusion monster hit in the first week in may and was successful enough to attain the number 2 spot in just three weeks.

15. Ayaya – Protek ft. Okey Sokay

Rooftop Clan Music Artist, Protek lends from the Ibibio dialect and expresses how good His God is. The song AYAYA is one that we can all relate with and is guaranteed to get you dancing.
