Nigerian Gospel Music Awards (NGMA) 2013. And The Winners Are…

A night of glitz, fun and glam it was, for the Gospel Music Industry yesterday as the 3rd edition of the Nigeria Gospel Music Awards (NGMA) held in the city of Lagos, Nigeria.

The hall was filled to capacity with the obvious presence of top Nigerian Gospel Artistes such as Sammie Okposo, Nikki Laoye, SoKleva (of Rooftop Mcs), Righteous Man, Gbenga Oke, Anny, Monique, IBK Spaceshipboi, Charles Granville

There were beautiful performances by artistes such as Erujeje, Sabina (singer and OAP, NaijaFM), HICC Choir and many more.

After weeks of voting by the public and fans, there was a great air of anticipation as all awaited the names of the winners for each category.

Soon enough the cat was let out of the bag, as they would say..and awards were finally presented amidst cheers and loud applause to deserving artistes including Soul singer, Nikki Laoye, Reggae King -Righteousman; the “Woruno” crooner, Anny; Fast rising singer, Taiwo Oladoye & the amazing FLO ,just to mention a few.

Gospel music veteran, Sammie Okposo, went home with the highest number of awards for the night.
