Lagos, NG – Life is indeed much more about how valuable our contributions are towards other people’s success than our own personal consumption. So much value and impact was made as Aimee’s Library hosted #ABookInHand LIVE event to wrap up the October Edition of the book club.

The well attended event which took place on Saturday, October 31, 2015 at The Cauldron Lounge, Alausa, Ikeja Lagos, featured an interactive chat session with Bill Bidiaque; author of #JesusInJeansNovel (The Book for the Month for October) amongst other activities.
The event was ignited with prayers from Yele and it lived up to its billing with lots of activities lined up for the day, beginning with the Book Reading/Review of Jesus In Jeans.
It was indeed a special a moment of inspiration, as TOLA had an interview session with Bill Bidiaque, Author of #JesusInJeansNovel thus giving the audience an opportunity to have a better understanding of the inspiration behind the must-read novel.

There were Interjections ranging from Ice breakers to random questions; DJ A’Cube with his rare skills was on hand to ensure our legs and emotions responded to the cool and sweet soul refreshing groove… SeyeLaPoet also thrilled with a sintilating love-inspired spoken word piece.
It felt like Christmas came a few weeks earlier, as lucky attendees went home with free books to read and add to their library during the Win-A-Book Challenge anchored by Amy & TOLA.
There was also the opportunity to “Make An Impression” in more ways than one, as the audience watched the captivating dance performances by The Dream Catchers (Former street kids now making a u-turn through dance), an arm of The Nurture My Future NGO. Friends and family made further moves to buy a school book for a child during the fund raiser.
